My sweet Avery...

Can I just say how much I love this girl?

Every day when I pack her lunch, I write a little note for her on a napkin. She always gets a kick out of it. Well, I had a bit of a rough day yesterday (I will update on that later) and she apparently noticed. So when I got to work today, I found this in my purse:

What would I do without this girl?

Welcome!

Is it just me, or are intro posts always a little... awkward? Oh well, onward we go!

Blogging seems to be the trendy thing to do nowadays, but really, it's a great way to keep track of life's great (and not so great) little moments that I never want to forget. I just wish I had started one when A was born. Hindsight's 20/20 and all that...

So I'm J, and my husband is D. We got married in November 2009 and we have 3 beautiful daughters. A is 5 years old and just started kindergarten this year! She is a ball of energy, and such a good kid. Currently, she enjoys gymnastics, dancing, and swimming in her free time. She is also the proud big sis to twin girls, C and E, who are now 5 months old. I wish I could explain in words how much she loves these babies. I've been fortunate that she hasn't been jealous in the slightest, and she loves helping me with them! She is like mommy #2!

I work for State Government, though I would much rather be home with my girls. But D is working on a PhD, so that isn't possible right now since we kind of need health insurance. I am looking forward to the day that he graduates and gets a "real" job, though something tells me he will always be a student. The man loves to learn and jumps at the chance to add another degree to his collection.

Anyway, that's us in a nutshell. Basically, my kids are my life, and that is largely what I will write about. Hopefully one day they can look back on this and smile about all of the silly things they did.

Thanks for reading!
